What is Ester-C® Plus Immune Complex?
Solgar's Ester-C® Plus Immune Complex is a comprehensive vitamin supplement in softgels based on Ester-C® (calcium L-ascorbate) , a non-acidic form of vitamin C. This formula combines vitamin C with vitamin D3, vitamin A, B vitamins, zinc and magnesium , supplemented with botanical ingredients such as elderberry, echinacea and astragalus. The Solgar Ester-C® Plus Immune Complex softgels are designed as a daily supplement and are supplied in softgel form with rice bran oil as a base.
Each softgel contains, among other things, 500 mg of vitamin C (625% RI) , 7.5 mcg of vitamin D3 (150% RI) and 7.5 mg of zinc (75% RI) . In addition, each softgel provides vitamin A, vitamin B5, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, folic acid, biotin and magnesium, combined with Sambucus nigra (fruit) , Echinacea purpurea (aerial parts) and Astragalus membranaceus (root) . The softgel capsule consists of bovine gelatin with vegetable glycerin, carob and caramel colour.
