Evening primrose oil is naturally a source of gamma linolenic acid (GLA). In principle, the body itself can produce GLA from (cis) linoleic acid. However, sometimes it can be useful to supplement this with a supplement. Factors that can lead to an increased need are (too) high consumption of trans fatty acids, saturated fats, sugar, alcohol and carbohydrates. Evening primrose oil helps with discomfort prior to and during menstruation. Biotin and vitamin B6 have also been added to this Golden Naturals product. Biotin is important for the skin and vitamin B6 is good for hormone balance.
Take 1 capsule once a day, preferably with a meal and water. Suitable for children from 3 years.
