Intestinal Support - 275 grams
Mattisson Intestinal support consists of Açai, L Glutamine, Probiotics 10 billion, Chaga and Sunfiber (Guarboon fibers)
Acai
Açai is a dark purple berry with the appearance of a grape. Acai powder is a rich source of fiber. Fibers support healthy intestinal function. Acai is also a rich source of Vitamin A. Vitamin A can be used, among other things, for the mucous membranes in the intestines and supports the immune system.
L-Glutamine
L-Glutamine is an amino acid that functions as a building block for proteins and fulfills various crucial functions in the body. It is considered a non-essential amino acid, meaning the body can normally produce it on its own. However, during certain conditions, such as stress, illness, intense exercise or injury, the demand for glutamine can increase beyond what the body can produce, making it conditionally essential. Glutamine is widely distributed throughout the body, especially in large amounts in the intestines.
Probiotics 10 billion
Large amounts of bacteria live in the intestinal flora of every person. These bacteria are partly important for your body and partly harmful. In a healthy intestinal flora, the bacteria are in balance, but the intestinal flora can change due to lifestyle, stress and medication use. When the intestinal flora becomes out of balance, complaints can arise. Probiotic supplements contain a large amount of 'good' bacteria for the intestinal flora.
Chaga
Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) is a mushroom that grows on the trunk of birch trees, from which it extracts betaline acid. Chaga does not look like a mushroom, but like a black/orange protuberance on the tree that is very hard. Chaga does especially well in cold, harsh climates. Chaga contains many different nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, phenols, enzymes and antioxidants. The substances in Chaga have a very high ORAC value (oxygen radical absorbance capacity). The Chaga mushroom also contains many beta-glucan rich polysaccharides (fibers) and active compounds such as betulinic acid.
Sunfiber®
Mattisson organic Guar bean fibers Sunfiber® come from the germ white of the guar plant from India. Guar beans are a rich source of soluble fiber. Soluble fibers are also called Prebiotics. Prebiotic fibers end up undigested in the large intestine, where they are broken down by bacteria through fermentation into short-chain fatty acids (acetate, butyrate and propionate). These fatty acids serve as an energy source for, among other things, the intestinal epithelium. An advantage of this fiber over other fibers is that it is already fermented, which results in fewer discomforts such as gas formation.
