Organic Almond Protein 50% - 350 g
What is Almond Protein?
Organic Almond protein is plant-based and a good substitute for (animal) protein sources such as whey and soy proteins. Almond protein is made from white almonds that have been pressed, defatted and ground very finely. As a result, the final almond protein contains much less fat and much more protein than regular ground almonds. Almond protein has a sweet almond taste and is gluten-free.
Benefits of Almond protein
Almond protein is a source of protein and contains 50 grams of protein per 100 grams of product. Proteins are essential for our body, they are the building blocks of our cells and tissues. Proteins contribute to the maintenance and growth of muscle mass and the maintenance of normal bones.
How do you use Almond protein?
Almond protein can be used as an extra addition to muesli breakfasts and is also ideal as a replacement for flour in baking recipes such as pancakes, bread, pastries, cookies or cake (replace 25% of the original flour). Use extra liquid because almond flour absorbs a lot of moisture and less sugar because it is naturally sweet. Or make almond milk by dissolving 25 grams of almond protein in 250 ml of water.
