Cholesterol and Vascular Measurement
Cholesterol and Vascular Measurement
With our Cholesterol and Vascular Measurement you will get a comprehensive overview of your cholesterol levels and the condition of your capillaries within minutes. This measurement combines two advanced techniques for a complete insight into your cardiovascular health.
What do we measure during this session?
-
Cholesterol levels (finger prick): Using the Mission Cholesterol Meter we measure:
- Total cholesterol (CHOL): General overview of your cholesterol levels.
- HDL ('good') cholesterol: Supports healthy fat metabolism.
- LDL ('bad') cholesterol: Important to monitor.
- Triglycerides (TRIG): Important fat value in the blood.
- HDL/LDL ratio: Provides insight into the balance between good and bad cholesterol.
-
Vascular elasticity and microcirculation (capillaries): With the K2 Control meter we analyze:
- Vascular elasticity: Gives an indication of how flexible or stiff your capillaries are. This can be an early indication of possible arteriosclerosis or increased blood pressure.
- Oxygen saturation (SpO2): Measures the oxygen level in your blood (normally >95%).
- Heart Rate: Provides insight into your basic cardiovascular function.
Why choose this measurement?
The combination of cholesterol and vascular measurements provides a unique overall picture of your cardiovascular health.
- Professional performance: Performed by a certified nurse using sterile and safe methods.
- Prevention is better than cure: Early warning signs can help address problems at an early stage.
- Fast and efficient: Within 15 minutes you will have an overview of important health values.
- Low-threshold: Ideal as a preventive check-up, without a referral letter or long waiting times.
How does it work?
-
Cholesterol measurement:
A small, sterile finger prick provides enough blood to measure your cholesterol levels. The Mission Cholesterol Meter instantly analyzes your HDL, LDL, triglycerides, and total cholesterol, along with the HDL/LDL ratio. -
K2 measurement:
The K2 Control meter uses Accelerated Plethysmography (APG) to analyze the flexibility of your capillaries. This measurement is completely painless and provides additional information about your oxygen saturation and heart rate. Please note: abnormal values are indicative and should be further investigated by a doctor in case of doubt.
What can you do with the results?
This measurement provides an indication of your cardiovascular health. Deviations in cholesterol levels or vascular elasticity can be a signal to take action, such as adjusting your lifestyle or consulting a doctor. We do not offer a medical diagnosis with this measurement, but we do give you a valuable starting point.
Why is this measurement unique?
This service combines cholesterol measurements with an assessment of your microcirculation, providing a broader insight into your cardiovascular health. Using CE-certified equipment, we provide a safe, reliable and professional screening.
