Trifolamin™ lozenges from Designs for Health contain a combination of three bioactive vitamin B12 forms (methylcobalamin, hydroxycobalamin and adenosylcobalamin) together with the natural, active form of folate as (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolate. These lozenges are designed for absorption through the oral mucosa and are hypoallergenic, vegetarian and gluten-free. Each pack contains 60 lozenges.

Trifolamin™ lozenges provide a combination of the three bioactive vitamin B12 forms methylcobalamin, hydroxycobalamin and adenosylcobalamin with the natural, active form of folate as (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolate. Vitamin B12 is important for the formation of red blood cells and contributes to the normal function of the nervous and immune systems, as well as normal energy and homocysteine metabolism. Folic acid is an important cofactor of vitamin B12. Folic acid supplementation increases the folic acid status of the (expectant) mother. A low folate status of the mother is a risk factor for developing a neural tube defect in the fetus.

- 5-methyltetrahydrofolate: 680 mcg

Recommended use by the manufacturer: 1 lozenge daily or as directed by your therapist.
