Full Spectrum Vitamin K
What is Full Spectrum Vitamin K?
Full Spectrum Vitamin K contains a combination of vitamin K with cofactors including vitamin A , vitamin C , vitamin D3 , and DeltaGOLD® tocotrienols . Vitamin K is a fat-soluble vitamin that contributes to normal blood clotting, plays a role in bone formation and promotes the absorption of calcium into the bones.
Vitamin K
Vitamin K was first identified by Dr. Henrik Dam in Denmark, when he noticed that chicks developed muscle hemorrhages after a diet lacking plant sterols. This clotting problem turned out to be caused by a deficiency of vitamin K, which takes its name from the word "coagulation."
