What is Red Yeast Rice & Q10?
Red Yeast Rice & Q10 from Golden Naturals is a vegan food supplement in tablet form. This formula combines fermented red yeast rice with fermented black garlic and coenzyme Q10. Red yeast rice is created when white rice ferments with the fungus Monascus purpureus, resulting in a red rice that contains the substance monacolin K. The tablets are formulated around these fermented ingredients and form a combination that you can easily incorporate into your daily routine.
Each tablet provides 83 mg of red yeast rice extract, standardised to 3% monacolin K (2.5 mg), supplemented with 10 mg of fermented black garlic extract (10:1) with more than 0.1% S-Allyl cysteine. In addition, the formula contains 7.5 mg of coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone), a substance naturally found in the body, and 0.75 mg of BioPerine® from black pepper. The coenzyme Q10 is naturally fermented.
