They developed the patented TNO gastoIntestinal Model (TIM) for this purpose. This model very accurately simulates the conditions of the stomach and small intestine. This method makes it possible to take samples during different test phases, allowing quantitative results regarding the activity of enzyme supplementation to be measured for the first time.
