Vitex Agnus Castus, also known as monk's pepper or chaste tree, is a plant native to the Mediterranean, Central Asia and North America. The diverse scientific research into the herb has ensured that we can attribute various properties to monk's pepper.

The main active ingredients of Vitex Agnus Castus are the so-called agnuside and aucubine. Due to the unique standardization of no less than 0.5 percent agnuside and 0.6 percent aucubine, a guaranteed amount of these active substances is present in the herb.
