Calcium, also called lime, is the most abundant mineral in our body.
Higher need for children and pregnant women
The body needs approximately 450 - 1200 mg of calcium daily, depending on age and gender. During periods of growth, such as childhood or pregnancy, more calcium is needed than normal. You get calcium by eating legumes, vegetables such as green beans, spinach and soy beans, nuts and various dairy products such as milk, cheese and yoghurt.

Combination with D3 for better recording

The general daily allowance (RDA) varies by age in children, and by age and gender in adults. While the elderly need extra calcium, children do too.
The Health Council recommends 10 mcg of vitamin D for children

Boys aged 9 and over are already much above this with 1200 mg, girls aged 9 are 100 mg below this with 1100 mg per day. In addition, the Health Council indicates that children benefit from a daily vitamin D intake of 10 mcg from birth.

Our calcium tablets are suitable for children from 4 years to seniors. While an adult can often easily chew the entire tablet to pieces, this can sometimes be just too big for a child. With the break marks you can easily break the round tablet into four pieces, so that even young children can use Calcium 400 excellently.
