What is ALA Release?
ALA Release is an advanced formula that consists of R-Alpha-Lipoic Acid , Alpha-Lipoic Acid , and Biotin . Alpha-Lipoic Acid comes in two forms: the R-form (the natural and most effective form) and the S-form . The S-form can increase the bioavailability of the R-form, so this supplement contains a mix of both forms. Biotin plays an important role in the activity of certain enzymes involved in energy metabolism and supports the nervous system.
With Alpha-Lipoic Acid
Alpha-lipoic acid is a sulfur-containing fatty acid that occurs naturally in the mitochondria of all cells. It is produced in small quantities by the body from the amino acid cysteine and the fatty acid octanoic acid. Alpha-lipoic acid is also found in limited quantities in food, mainly in organ meats and to a lesser extent in vegetables and fruit.
