What is ButyrEn?
ButyrEn provides butyric acid in the form of Butyragen™ , a patented blend of butyric acid, acacia fiber, and guar bean fiber. The special gastric acid-resistant capsule provides a delayed release of butyric acid and dietary fiber. Butyric acid is a short-chain fatty acid and is produced by bacterial fermentation of dietary fiber in the large intestine. It is an important source of energy for intestinal cells and supports an anti-inflammatory effect.
