What is DHEA?
Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) is a natural substance produced by the adrenal glands, reproductive organs and brain from cholesterol. DHEA acts as a precursor to both male and female sex hormones. As we age, the natural production of DHEA decreases. The DHEA in this product comes from wild yam , a tropical tuber traditionally eaten in South America and Africa.
Special lipid matrix
The DHEA in this product is micronized to a particle size of less than 50 microns. To enhance absorption and protect the tiny DHEA crystals, the tablets are provided with a special lipid matrix.
