What is cranberry?
Cranberry, also known as cranberry, is a small red fruit that comes from an evergreen shrub called the cranberry bush. Cranberry is mainly grown in North America and is valued worldwide for its taste and health benefits. Cranberries have a slightly sour taste and are often used in various dishes, including juices, sauces, desserts and baked goods. They are also dried and made into cranberry raisins, which can be eaten as a snack.
Cranberries are available in several forms, including fresh cranberries, cranberry juice, dried cranberries and as a supplement. In addition to their culinary uses, cranberries are known for their high levels of antioxidants and nutrients, such as vitamin C and fiber.
What is D-mannose?
D-mannose is an essential sugar that naturally occurs in small amounts in cranberries. Essential means that the body can only produce the sugars itself to a limited extent, but they do need them. D-mannose is the active ingredient of Cranberry. A daily dose of 2 grams of D-mannose is equivalent to approximately 225 grams of cranberries. In addition, D-mannose has the advantage that it does not affect the good bacteria in the intestinal flora. It is a 100% natural nutrient that the body also recognizes as such.
Bearberry
Bearberry is a plant that owes its name to the fact that the berries are very popular with bears. The dried leaves of the bearberry are used for our health. Just like cranberry, bearberry is used for bladder health.
