What is Borage oil?

Borage oil is made from the seeds of the borage plant. The plant is mainly grown in Europe and North America and has beautiful star-shaped flowers. The oil is pressed from the seeds by cold pressing to preserve the nutritional value and quality.

Borage oil is rich in the omega 6 fatty acid GLA, or Gamma Linolenic Acid. These capsules contain no less than 200 mg of this fatty acid. This form of omega 6 hardly occurs in our diet.

Vitamin E has been added to Mattisson Borage oil capsules. This vitamin protects the body against free radicals.
