What is UC-II® Collagen?
Bonusan's UC-II® Collagen is a food supplement in capsule form with 40 mg undenatured type II collagen (UC-II®), supplemented with vitamin C (PureWay-C™). This collagen supplement combines a patented form of type II collagen from chicken cartilage with vitamin C in one targeted formula. The capsules, previously known as Collasense, are produced according to Bonusan's quality standards and are intended for daily use as part of a balanced diet.
UC-II® is extracted from chicken cartilage using a patented process that preserves its natural structure. The formula also contains vitamin C from PureWay-C™, a combination of L-ascorbic acid with citrus bioflavonoids and plant lipids. The capsule shell is made of hydroxypropylmethylcellulose and contains excipients such as microcrystalline cellulose and fatty acid esters of ascorbic acid.
