This MCT oil is made from 100% organic coconut oil and consists of Caprylic Acid (C8) and Capric Acid (C10). Unlike our other MCT oil blends, this organic variant still contains a small amount of Lauric acid (C12). MCT oil has a neutral taste and can be used both hot and cold to replace other oils and fats.
Benefits of MCT fatty acids
MCT fatty acids are medium chain fatty acids. While long-chain fatty acids first pass through the lymphatic system before being absorbed, medium-chain fatty acids (MCT fats) are absorbed directly into the blood via the intestines.
