Zinc Citrate 50 mg
What is zinc?
Zinc is an essential trace element that plays an important role in many processes in the human body. It is involved in the construction and breakdown of carbohydrates, fats and proteins, and supports the immune system, growth and fertility. In addition, zinc plays an important role in protecting cells against oxidative stress and contributes to a healthy bone structure. Zinc also has a beneficial effect on mental effort and helps in stressful situations.
Zinc in our food
Zinc is found primarily in animal products such as beef, pork, poultry, seafood (such as crab and lobster), eggs, milk, and cheese. Although plant sources such as grains and nuts also contain zinc, zinc from animal products is generally better absorbed by the body.
