Golden Naturals' Borage Oil 1000 mg is a dietary supplement in the form of softgel capsules, based on cold-pressed oil from the seeds of the borage plant (Borago officinalis). This plant, also known as starflower or cucumber herb, is a herb with blue flowers that originated in the Mediterranean region. Borage oil is known as a natural source of the polyunsaturated omega-6 fatty acid GLA (gamma-linolenic acid).
