Product Information
What is Buffered Vitamin C Powder?
Life Extension's Buffered Vitamin C Powder is a high-dose vitamin C powder that delivers 4000 mg of vitamin C (as ascorbic acid) per serving, combined with minerals. This powdered vitamin C supplement also contains calcium, magnesium, zinc, and potassium in buffered form. This composition results in a less acidic solution when mixed with water. This powder is developed for those who desire a higher intake of vitamin C in a soluble form with added minerals.
Each rounded teaspoon (approximately 5.4 g) contains vitamin C as ascorbic acid, supplemented with calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, zinc gluconate, and potassium carbonate. The combination of carbonates creates a buffered composition that fizzes briefly when dissolved. One package contains 454 grams of powder, good for approximately 84 servings.
