Niacin CRT™ 500 mg NE
Product Information
What is Niacin CRT™ 500 mg NE?
Niacin 500 mg from Designs for Health is a dietary supplement that provides 500 mg NE of niacin (vitamin B3) per tablet, in the form of nicotinic acid. This niacin is processed with Controlled-Release Technology (CRT™), ensuring gradual release as it passes through the gastrointestinal tract. The supplement is intended for adults who want to supplement their niacin intake with a well-tolerated form. The tablets release niacin over a period of 6 to 8 hours, rather than all at once. This sustained release makes the formula different from conventional immediate or delayed-release preparations. Niacin is a water-soluble B vitamin.
Each tablet contains 500 mg NE niacin as nicotinic acid, processed in a wax-matrix tablet. The CRT™ technology ensures gradual niacin release, which makes flushing less likely than with traditional time-release forms. The product is free from gluten, dairy, and soy and is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
