Encozyme | 10 mg NADH coenzyme 30 V-caps.
Product information
Encozyme NADH contains NADH (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, reduced form) , the directly active coenzyme form of vitamin B3. NADH occurs naturally in every living cell and plays a central role in energy-yielding metabolism .
A patented micro-encapsulation process protects the NADH in this supplement from light and oxygen, two factors that normally quickly break down this substance.
What is NADH?
NADH is the biologically active form of vitamin B3 and functions as a coenzyme in numerous cellular processes. Together with its oxidized counterpart, NAD, it forms an essential pair in the body's energy metabolism.
NADH was formerly also referred to as coenzyme 1 , because of its fundamental role in energy metabolism.
NADH and energy
Vitamin B3 contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism . NADH is a key component, as it is involved in electron transfer in the mitochondria , the cell's powerhouses.
Although small amounts of NADH can be obtained from food, this substance is highly unstable and sensitive to light and oxygen.
Patented micro-encapsulation
Encozyme NADH is produced using a patented micro-encapsulation technique utilizing chlorophyll. This technology protects NADH from degradation by light and oxygen and helps maintain its biological activity until absorption.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between NAD and NADH?
NAD is the oxidized form of vitamin B3, while NADH is the reduced, active coenzyme form used directly in cellular processes.
Why is NADH stabilization important?
NADH is extremely sensitive to light and oxygen. Without stabilization, it would quickly degrade and lose its effectiveness.
When is the best time to take NADH?
NADH is best taken on an empty stomach , before a meal, for optimal absorption.
