This may not mean much to you, but what is important to know is that it is too large to be absorbed in the small intestine. HyaMax® sodium hyaluronate has an exceptionally low weight between 10,000 – 100,000 daltons. This makes our Hyaluronic Acid 150 easy to absorb.

Hyaluronic acid can be obtained in two ways: from animal or vegetable sources. In the past, cockscombs were used to obtain hyaluronic acid. Nowadays, most hyaluronic acid supplements use bacterial fermentation. HyaMax® also extracts its hyaluronic acid from bacterial fermentation, making the supplement extremely suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
