Multi Basis from Vitakruid
You are probably familiar with the Multi Day & Night products from Vitakruid. Innovative formulas with a day and night tablet, so you get the right nutrients during the day and at night. The most optimal multivitamin!
Nevertheless, Vitakruid understands that there is simply a need for a so-called basic multivitamin, with all nutrients around the reference intake (RI) and in bioavailable form. When choosing a basic multivitamin, you always end up with supplements that often contain synthetic forms.
That is why Vitakruid introduces the Multi Basic. The best basic multivitamin in the Netherlands with all nutrients in natural and bioavailable form, in well-considered doses.
Just one tablet is enough
The dosages you see in the ingredients table apply to only one tablet. Be aware that many other multivitamins use an ingredient table for two or even three tablets. In the worst case, a jar of 90 tablets only contains 30 daily doses!
The most absorbable forms available worldwide
Vitamins and minerals exist in different forms. We know the natural or bioavailable variant that our body absorbs best. Low-quality supplements often contain synthetic forms, which are less easily absorbed. These manufacturers often use the art of omission. If the forms of the vitamins and minerals are not stated on a label, you can assume that the supplement contains synthetic forms.
Let's take the well-known vitamin B12 as an example. A nutrient that we often encounter in low-quality supplements in the synthetic form cyanocobalamin. This variant of B12 still has to go through four steps before it is actually useful for our body. The product of this conversion process is called methylcobalamin. This is the nutrient that has been directly added to the Multi Basic!
B complex
The Multi Basic also contains an active B complex. You will only find this in high, safe and most bioavailable forms in this formula.
Generous dose of vitamin C, iron, selenium and zinc
Vitamin C is an indispensable vitamin in a multivitamin. Of this, more than 200 mg of calcium ascorbate in the non-acidic and easily absorbable form has been added to the Multi Basic.
You will also find the nutrients iron bisglycinate, selenium methionine and zinc picolinate in the Multi Basic.
No label filling, only nutrients in effective dosage
Many multivitamins have a lengthy ingredient list. For the average supplement user, it quickly seems like a good product. The more ingredients the better, right?
Vitakruid calls this useless label filling. Most nutrients are only effective for our body in a certain minimum dosage.
That is why the Multi Basis really contains a high-quality base. All vitamins and minerals in minimal doses and no herbs, amino acids or enzymes in negligible amounts.
Some vitamins above the reference intake
Nevertheless, some reference intakes are simply too low for the desired effect. That is why the Multi Basic contains an amount of vitamin C of two and a half times the recommendation and the amount of vitamin D is 250 percent of the reference intake. When you add the bioavailable forms of B12 methyl- and adenosylcobalamin together, you even reach 1000% of the RI! That seems like a lot, but only in that dosage does the nutrient have a positive influence.
